    @drvictoriafox @drethescientist @iambridielee @PeterHotez more research is needed. The article noted that the UK is putting a chunk of money into researching this specifically.

    But, either way, it’s science. There’s no singular “right” often. Maybe it’s unclear and the conflicting research shows that more is needed.

    @drvictoriafox @drethescientist @iambridielee @PeterHotez I see public health research much more like a soft science like sociology than a hard science—there are so many factors involved when studying a population that it takes a lot of different research to distill patterns.
