For context, I’m thinking of +Francis increased regulation of the EF/TLM/old school Mass.
I see it like the military too. If the governance is truly unlawful—the horrible situations we’ve seen of child abuse by clergy or in the old residences—duty is to NOT follow.
But if we just don’t like it or disagree (even if our disagreement has laudable aspects), deference is the norm. #CatholicTwitter
