And not a billion a year. Not even close. Only 5% of the PUF is distributed in a year. 2/3rd of that to the UT system, 1/3 to the A&M system.

    @JoshRMcDonald @ywshaikh @ivotedforbeer @ReallyDanWeiner @chris_hummer Of UT’s 2/3rd, about 50% of that goes to UT-Austin. The rest to the remaining institutions, etc. UT-Austin took in $390M from the AUF last year with a temporary $25M/yr for 10 years to stand up the Dell Medical school.
