In no case is any public school going to bet on taking away a constitutionally provisioned source of funds. It may be just 20% of income, but that’s sizable. That has nothing to do with athletics.

    @JohnnyCJohnnyDu @heyzeus156 @Broward83 @MikeLeslieWFAA While we’re at it, let’s take away the increasingly smaller amount of public funds dedicated to UT and make it a private school. It’s a strawman issue.

    The question was how much of the PUF goes towards athletics. None is the answer.
