@lapech86 @FrHilderbrand The curriculum itself was designed so that anyone can join at any time, but the idea is that everyone would go through a whole liturgical year in the program. Depending on when they joined, it could look like a *longer* program.

@lapech86 @FrHilderbrand But there was no “start” or “end”. Newly joined would be alongside those about to have their sacraments. Would be scaled down in the summer, but it was just a flow. If someone didn’t feel ready to go into the Elect on 1st Sunday Lent, just keep going. It didn’t feel weird.
@lapech86 @FrHilderbrand If they were already baptized, they could join and when them/priest agreed they were ready, could fully join the church without it being weird they “didn’t finish the year” or whatever.
@lapech86 @FrHilderbrand It is really different than how a lot of parishes think of it. Getting over that hump that it isn’t an academic thing, but a fluid process, then making sure it is done to meet that vision for it is a real mind trip for most people who have only seen the academic year model.
@lapech86 @FrHilderbrand I should note it was very focused on 1. immediately getting people looped in and 2. Only progressing individuals when ready. We’d have inquirers who would meet weekly for a year before Acceptance while others did it the first chance a few weeks after first contact.
