@Brendan_m_Hodge Another aspect of it, which is tangential but not at the same time, is—in TX at least—there is an unusual summer surge of RSV. Usually a Dec/Jan season here, it is peak right now. In the Dallas region, for example, there are zero PICU beds available.

    @Brendan_m_Hodge The reason is both RSV admits and COVID admits are straining the system. Just one, probably could handle. With both, it is at a breaking point in some areas.
