@MWZH1 @mattlargey The rain dance analogy fails in that there is zero effectiveness of a rain dance.

Maybe you’re right, but it is a better proposition with the current circumstances to play the card that results in the least harm if wrong.

    @MWZH1 @mattlargey That said, the research does indicate so far that masks are effective so it isn’t just a blind proposition either.

    My earlier point stands that if people masked earlier during a season, that would be a notable experiment. It may be seasonal but doesn’t mean masks are pointless.
