@mattlargey Philadelphia did something like that, but not sure the details. Will WBEZ let it still run itself like a traditional paper, etc?

They are positioning it as an expansion of local media coverage. Given the reduction trend, I’m down for a larger local news footprint.

    @mattlargey Imaging no paywall with a membership model, or a PBS Passport model of $5+/month gets access but can donate whatever you want, etc.

    I wouldn’t complain if KUT bought the Statesman. Just saying.
