@BumpyNUX @HEB What I *think* happened … You can put in your credit card while ringing up, which I did, then added a bunch of new gift cards at the end (for teacher gifts!). I think pre-running the card, followed by (enough?) gift card loads caused some type of buffer overrun.

    @BumpyNUX @HEB Realized later that the payment pad flashed “Transaction Approved” after each load … So yeah, that’s my hypothesis if anyone in HEB’s POS department wants to replicate.
