Two different teams and yet both games there was a TD on the first play from scrimmage. At least they didn’t onside kick the opening kickoff this time.

Wait! I’m wrong. The opposing team is the same as last time (middle school kid doing the high school band visits with the schools she might apply to).

This team won 68-14 last week including a scoreless 4th. Let’s see if this school puts up a better game against them.

Alright. So the fine arts academy last week and the liberal arts and sciences academy this week. I’m not sure what this other school specializes in but I think it might be football.

It took this team two plays from scrimmage to score on this drive.

Only because the TD on the first play was called back for holding.

I hope the kiddo doesn’t try to pick schools over something silly like their football team.

I hope she considers the swag they offer. This school has a nice “dad” coffee mug in their spirit shop.

I’m proud of this other team. They’re improving. Not content with scoring on their first play from scrimmage, they forced a fumble on our first play from scrimmage for a scoop and score.

Hot damn. We got a first down. Don’t count us out just because we’re down 33 points in the first quarter!

    It’s 61-0 with 7 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. https://t.co/XpENlZcB3H

With 21 seconds left in the first half, the score is 82-0.

Kid is dismissed at halftime but… am I a little evil for just wanting to see the second half? https://t.co/dsWPsTVClx

89-0. They switched to a running clock so this game will go much faster now. 5 min and counting in the 3rd.

We took off at the end of the third. I’d guess the running clock will run too fast to see triple digits.
