I’m taking a course on business processes and using this atrocious Excel-macro-powered “XLSim” simulator.

It lets you define resources and a process, then simulates the process to output utilization, queue times, cycle times, etc.

    My understanding is it exists because any real software that does this is prohibitively expensive.

    Are there any alternatives? This app is just bad. Constant crashes and questionable results.
