Plaque at the location of the execution of Sts. John Fisher and Thomas More. Includes their names and a number others who were executed for their faith at this spot between 1495 and 1537.

On this date in 1535, Thomas More was executed on Tower Hill outside of the Tower of London for maintaining that the Pope, not King Henry VIII, was the head of the Church.
