you’re in control!

I read this quite awhile ago on Sean Savage’s website and realized I never mentioned it on here.
Two students from MIT developed the “You’re In Control (Urine Control)” video game system.
In short, the took the standard American urinal and attached sensors to it. They hooked it up to a laptop running Windows 2000 and a C++ programmed game. The objective? Control your stream of urine to hit hamsters as they jump “from one hole in the ground into another hole in the ground. A successful hit turned the hamster yellow, made it scream and spin out of contol, and rewarded the player with ten points.”
They even developed a “game controller” for women to wear/use so they could play as well.
(Note: The comment feature is semi-working. If you have an error returned mentioning dbi.pm line 44, don’t worry about it. The comment is in the database and I’ll rebuild the page within a day or two. I’m working on it so it will work right, but for now…)
