I’m heading out tomorrow night to The Woodlands to visit Vanessa for the weekend. Her mom, through a free ticket offer at her work, was able to get us tickets to see Hootie and the Blowfish on Friday. As Vanessa put it, “I think I remembered liking one of their songs in sixth grade.”
I can’t remember what song it was that everyone knew and loved years ago and am not motivated enough to look it up at the moment.
I haven’t been to a concert, like that, in quite a long time. Concerts in Austin just have a different feel than the arena concerts that take place in most ofther cities. It is something different and we may double-date with a high school friend of Vanessa’s who I’ve become friends with over the past two years.
