Hot Dog: Chicago Dog! What else? My first one of the style and a favorite still.
Fischer and I both made up reasons to need to visit Notre Dame. The real reason I wanted to go was to visit Vanessa. Of course, to get to Notre Dame, flying into Chicago makes the most sense.
It was the stereotypical experience for a couple of first-timers to the Windy City: being annoyed by O’Hare, riding an El through the Loop, and stopping at Gold Coast. This was still early in the quest and the idea of taking a picture of each time hadn’t entered our thought.
The dog itself was great and classically Chicago. A++
