The first hot dog of the quest specifically hunted. So far in our quest, the hot dogs were at a location we were already planning to be. We were so, so close to Michigan while visiting the University of Notre Dame so we couldn’t simply sit on our hands.
We didn’t plan this trip. No Googling (or whatever it was back in 2004 that people did when looking up things). Just got on the road and lucky for us, a dedicated hot dog stand not more than a mile or so from the stateline.
