@DeaconGregK I was close to a bishops here. I’m the guy who would use “Your Excellency” on first use, and “Bishop Greg” or “Bishop Bill” when addressing them after that. But “Bishop Wack” when speaking in the third-person.

Dunno if it makes sense but it’s what I settled on.

    @DeaconGregK For priests, I defer to their preference, but if I’m close to them, I’ll use “Padre” as an endearment.

    In a community, it’s odd to be the one person to call them “Fr. LastName” when everyone else says “Fr. John”. But extremely rarely without the honorific.
