@jeffr0 I have it turned on for a lot of plugins, especially things that are mainly behind the scenes (e.g. Akismet).

I haven’t had any issues.

I’ve had more issues from Core+Gutenberg conflicts with Core auto-updating to the next nightly than regular plugin updates.
