@EyeEdinburgh @Ljacksxo I don’t want him to pressure her into an abortion that she may not want.
-
@EyeEdinburgh @Ljacksxo That said, condoms aren’t perfect, even when used correctly. When talking with boys, don’t take your penis out of your pants unless you’re ready to build a crib. Don’t assume a piece of rubber makes sex consequence free.

@EyeEdinburgh @Ljacksxo I’m the father of six daughters with the oldest just in middle school. When I start chaperoning stuff for them now that we’re starting back up out of the pandemic, I am absolutely going to tell boys their responsibility.

@EyeEdinburgh @ladyheatherlee @RehumanizeAimee I’ve resigned that changing the hierarchy is not within my sphere of power but I more agree with you on that than not. The U.S. bishops (what I know best) don’t have a great track record on, well, a lot wrt intersection with the secular world.

@EyeEdinburgh @Ljacksxo I’m 100% with you in this. All unplanned pregnancies occur after a man ejaculates. He is 100% responsible for that. Child support should begin at contraception. When talking with boys, they should see themselves as more responsible for any pregnancy than the woman.

@EyeEdinburgh @ladyheatherlee @RehumanizeAimee Yeah, without knowing the intimate details, that looks questionable too. The ethics directives used by Catholic hospitals provide some, albeit limited, flexibility. This works far more often than it doesn’t. It isn’t perfect (in concept or execution) even if you agree with it.
