Shouldn’t it be just “Pope Francis” and not “Pope Francis I”, short of he saying otherwise?

@mredding True, I think that’s unique though. Then again, he was the first to use a non-repeated name since Lando in 900ish.
@mredding All of the first popes lack the suffix (Peter, Linus, etc) since they haven’t been repeated thus no need.
@mredding Traditionally, it should just be “Francis”. History typically adds the “I” when another pope takes the time.
