@davefarnum I was just by there. Did you notice that Mr. Gattis and Wendys on MLK both closed. Noticed that today for the first time.

Apparently, the temps are supposed to hit 108 next week in Austin. This is how we control the population in Texas. Melt the weak ones.

@applemachome The interweb tells me that when it starts to make a hissing sound, to throw it out a window before it explodes. No cure. 🙁

@applemachome No. Screen on, but not backlit. Got hotter, hotter, stopped responding, started smelling like melting plastic, etc.

My iPod Touch turned into a hot plate the other day (“smells like burning”). Haven’t been on the grid much. Will catch up soon.
