Wait? So, *when* is this Surface going to ship?

@GB330033 What’s the timeline for Windows 8? I know it’s in release preview now, but can’t recall hearing a date for true launch.

@norcross Agreed. I’m hearing “competitive with comparable ARM/tab Intel Ultrabook-class PC”.

@carlhancock Not yet. Since it’s on Win 8, it has to be after that launches, I’d assume (currently in RC status).

@GB330033 Ah right. One negative, the MS web folks should have figured out a way not to have all that stuff conflict…

@GB330033 I got the impression that this new thing is “Surface 2.0”. May very well be wrong.
