If A&M replaced in Big 12, there’s simply no room in our schedule for another non-conf game in 2012.

If no team added to replace A&M to Big 12, the game could happen as scheduled if SEC willing to work around. Just throwing things out there.

Or rather, move it to Thanksgiving week, but I think it is the better interest of the program to have an earlier bye week.

Looking at the 2012 schedule, assuming the Ags will be booked during conf play, UT would have to give up our bye wk to schedule fball game.
