@talkintotaylor @JaySouLDa1 @jakewertz @HoustonISD Schools can operate still if they have the ability to handle it. Austin stayed open when we had our water notice. austinisd.org/announcements/…

@cjbrown22 @HoustonTX Yeah, it takes forever. They have to fix the problem (sounds like already done), flush out so much, take samples for testing—which takes amazingly long time given how many people are waiting for it—and only after TCEQ approves, lift the notice.

@cjbrown22 @HoustonTX I hear you. Since the official notice doesn’t assure anyone, just meant to say don’t worry about the kids baths or drinking water today. It sucks. I took city water systems for granted until I was in line to fill a 6-gal drum with water at a city emergency filling station…

I’m taking a course on business processes and using this atrocious Excel-macro-powered “XLSim” simulator. It lets you define resources and a process, then simulates the process to output utilization, queue times, cycle times, etc.

@SamRochadotcom +1. I like there is so much diversity in our unity. Whether it is TLM or a Lifeteen Mass, Roman or Maronite or East Syrian, it’s great. Some might not be *my* cup of tea and I’m sure each has community challenges (e.g. political leanings that aren’t faithful), but it’s great.

@cjbrown22 @HoustonTX Welcome to the club. Sounds like it’s only a pressure drop notice so relatively low risk, FWIW.
