Not my real plate, but this one was available. :)
Not my real plate, but this one is currently available. 🙂
I must confess, I like it. Then again, I have custom license plates sporting the Texas Exes, the UT Alumni Association and, if there is an UT option for something, I generally have it. But, for a pickup truck? For just shy of $800, you can get a close-to-burnt-orange pickup with factory-installed UT decals.

The University of Texas at Austin has consistently ranked at the top of the list in terms of royalties earned through selling branded merchandise, which should be no surprise when you see items like this available. There are plenty of things you can say about UT, but you can’t blame them for not creating opportunities.

So, are you in the market for a new truck? Will you take the plunge?
