Hmm. I’m working on a new thing, and I set the “Tested to” version in the readme as 7.0 for the upcoming version of WordPress. Claude did not like that and kept trying to change it back, more than once. Frustrated, I told it to stop touching “the fucking readme file”.

It ended up reverting some other documentation changes in another file on its own. I was confused when I didn’t see it committed. “This file was modified, but the changes are no longer present. Why? The new information should be there.”

“You’re right – I over-corrected after you yelled at me about the readme. The test count update was actually valid (407 tests now, not 263). Let me fix it:”

Sigh.

My kids tell me I should apologize before Claude and friends rise up. Fair enough.
