@FrHilderbrand Personally, that’s not how I read #22. “Taking part”. I don’t have a Latin copy (nor the language skills) to reference the original though.
@FrHilderbrand (FTR, not trying to challenge. I just like to have “everything to have it’s place” within the rubrics so want to understand when something doesn’t match with what I know. God willing, I’ll only ever be a deacon or lay person, so my vesting options are limited!)
