I’ve been overall pretty quiet with the #WordPress current events. I realize that because I know a decent amount doesn’t mean I know everything and don’t want to stick a foot in my mouth thinking I’m being clever or anything.

But, I do want to say that I love working at Automattic. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Do I disagree with things we do sometimes? Yup. When I think it is important, do I speak up about it internally? Yes.

I’ll put more words on this soon, but with all of the negativity—including a past coworker who separated nearly five years ago mentioning in a YT comment that “we were the keepers of the culture whose remnants you still enjoy” or that 404 piece—I want to say that is just one subset of thought, experience, and perspective.
