@GaryJ same result when writing a post with a lower-role user (e.g. author role). Was trying the post as admin, which allowed me of course.

@GaryJ tried it w/ 3.6-nightly, g2-beta1 with only latest of enews active. no change.

@GaryJ Tried switching on display from htmlcharacters to esc_html with no change. removing the wp_kses_post resolves problem.

@GaryJ style=”color:blue;display:none;” drops to just color:blue, color:blue;display:none;color:green strips style completely.
