@GaryJ style=”display:none;” is completely stripped out. style=”test” left completely alone. style=”color:blue;” drops the semicolon only.

@GaryJ shouldn’t wp_kses_post, which is just wp_kses($data, post) get global? Why would <div style=”test”> persist but not display:none;

Why would wp_kses_post strip <div style=”display:none;”> to <div> but leave <div style=”test”> alone in a widget textarea? Works in a post.

@tnorthcutt @jpetersen I don’t track WP files either. Only wp-content. Also helps in the event I forget .gitignore, won’t want wp-config.php
