The minivan has some electrical glitch somewhere. Both main and auxiliary battery have gone bad twice now in the four years we’ve owned it.

I do appreciate the hussle that the dealership sent me a trade-in email for the vehicle that I brought in for service before the service advisor could call me to tell me they did have it (Night drop after a tow).

@kraft we had to replace the alternator in our Nissan Altima 2011 last year after spending a few years in the battery chase. It wasn’t our primary car so we pushed off getting it looked at and just relied on jumping it with a mobile jumper when we had to drive 🤣

Replacing the alternator was the crucial fix for us and our auto repair people didn’t give it as a cause/option before. My uncle told me to try it after I explained the issue.

I can’t remember if that was part of the warranty fix a couple years ago or not but will definitely chase that. The first time was under warranty and this time is close enough to that to be covered too.

Would be good to see about getting that fixed, if that’s the issue, possibly under warranty too! Thanks for the tip!
